“The representative from the car transfer company contacted me via WhatsApp and confirmed that the driver would be at the airport. As requested I messaged him as soon as we landed. No response. I messaged him again when we got to arrivals. No response. There was no one there with my name on a board. It was a complete ‘no show’. Needless to say it was disappointing and wasn’t really in the mood to deal with taxi drivers and touts at midnight at Medellín airport. All worked out fine as we got to our hotel safely. I recommend getting the white tourist taxi or standard yellow cabs.”
