“Really love the aviary! It is so amazing with many kinds of birds which do not exist in other countries. I love the freedom beach club as well. At the beginning thy seemed very organized when they picked us up and took us to the aviary, then they just dropped us off with a “guide” who just left us and picked us up at 12. “The national aviary was fabulous. Driver picked us up at our hotel at 8:00 AM and dropped us off in Old Town Cartagena at 1:30 PM for lunch. (He can drop off back at hotel too.) It was a private and scenic one hour drive to the aviary and back. He got tickets for us on arrival and waited for us for as long as we wanted to stay at aviary. We stayed about two hours and even saw a bird show.”

“The bus that picked us up was old. With no shock absorbers, we traveled along a pseudo-road that had once been paved. We arrived at a dusty, dirty parking lot. It was full of people getting off the bus and walking down a rocky path to a chaotic place full of people asking questions. Then they took us to the beach, where there was no space and all the facilities were crammed with people, chairs, and clutter. It was basically a no man's land. I don't recommend this experience.
